Several issues have been troubling me over the long term.

1. Was the Roman empire’s recognition of the church good or bad for the church?
2. Are denominations a good thing or divisive?
3. Are the standards for membership a witness for the kingdom or a Pharisaical continuance?
4. What does a person have to believe to belong to the institutional church?
